🌿 First Impressions of La Fortuna
When I arrived in La Fortuna, the air wrapped around me like a warm, green blanket.
Birds were singing somewhere deep in the jungle, and in the distance, Arenal Volcano rose like a giant watching over the valley.

It smelled like rain, coffee, and adventure.
🌱 Walking Through the Jungle
The next morning, I joined a guided walk through Arenal Volcano National Park.
Mist floated between the trees, and howler monkeys announced the day like little jungle alarm clocks.
Every step was alive — giant leaves, colorful frogs, and the sound of waterfalls somewhere ahead.

💡 Travel tip: wear good shoes. Jungle mud doesn’t care about cute sandals.
💧 La Fortuna Waterfall Magic
Later that day, I followed the sound of rushing water and found myself at La Fortuna Waterfall.
The water fell in a silver ribbon, surrounded by green walls, splashing into a blue pool.
I sat on a rock, feet in the water, watching people laugh as they jumped in.
It was one of those moments that didn’t need words.

🌿 Thermal Hot Springs Bliss
In the evening, I went to one of La Fortuna’s famous hot springs.
Warm, mineral-rich water flowed naturally through pools surrounded by plants and lantern light.
With steam rising and the sound of frogs, it felt like being in a natural spa designed by the jungle itself.

☕ Jungle Coffee Moments
One of my favorite memories?
A small jungle café with nothing but birdsong, a hammock, and a fresh cup of Costa Rican coffee.
The air smelled of roasted beans and rain.

This country knows how to slow you down.
🌅 Sunset Over Arenal
As the sun set behind Arenal Volcano, the sky turned gold and pink.
The rainforest quieted, except for the cicadas, and the volcano silhouette looked like something out of a dream.

Some places whisper. Costa Rica sings.
